Welcome! I’m Amber Giauque, a life, wellness and recovery coach dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s transitions, rediscover their strengths, and build and maintain healthy lives.

With over two decades of experience in leadership, public service, and community engagement, I’ve worked alongside changemakers, educators, and advocates to create lasting impact. My journey has included roles in executive leadership, strategic planning, and public policy—each one deepening my commitment to personal and collective transformation.

Today, I bring that same passion to my coaching practice. Through Anchor Wellness, I offer personalized coaching that blends evidence-based strategies with deep empathy and lived experience. Health coaching focuses on helping clients improve their diet, fitness, mental well-being, and overall lifestyle habits through a holistic approach. 

Combining health and life coaching recognizes that mental, emotional, and physical health are intertwined.

It moves beyond a single focus to provide integrated support for overall well-being.

By tackling both life goals and health habits simultaneously, we can create lasting changes that integrate health and life aspirations to elevate your success and wellbeing. 

Coaching v. therapy: What’s the difference?

Therapy involves licensed professionals diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, focusing on past experiences and emotions.

Life and health coaching are future-focused practices that help individuals set and achieve goals, develop strategies for personal growth, and improve motivation and accountabilitClients don’t have to choose between a coach and a therapist. In fact, coaches may refer clients to a therapist if issues are emotionally rooted.

I’ve chosen to be a coach because I believe that people can set goals and change their lives, and I want to help people do that.
